Resum: Recently, the European legislator has approved the recasting of the Regulation on service of judicial and extrajudicial documents in civil or commercial matters (Regulation EU 2020/1784). The purpose of this study is to address the main novelties raised by such recasting while highlighting the issues that deserved to be -and were not- object of reform.
