It's a year of changes for the final night of the BBC Proms. The grand finale of the world's most celebrated classical music festival is conducted by Marin Alsop, making her the first woman to conduct the Last Night of the Proms in its 119 year history. Star violinist Nigel Kennedy and mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato take to the stage to perform a wide range of popular pieces including Vaughan Williams's The Lark Ascending, Over the Rainbow and Danny Boy. The night also includes the world premiere of Anna Clyne's Masquerade, before closing with the traditional Last Night pieces
