In this work are analyzed a set of stories on the practical and symbolic uses of the body in players of non-professional soccer within the Department Valle Grande (Province of Jujuy-Argentina). The interpretation of ethno-graphic registry of a series of four championships among the ten participant towns, allows establishing correlations between the social frameworks that form the fútbol competitions at local level, and the constructed corporal dispositions around long term socio-historical structures within the area
En este trabajo se analizan un conjunto de relatos sobre los usos prácticos y simbólicos del cuerpo en los jugadores del fútbol no-profesional dentro del Departamento Valle Grande (Provincia de Jujuy-Argentina). La interpreta-ción del registro etnográfico de una serie de cuatro campeonatos futbolísti-cos entre los diez poblados participantes, permite establecer correlaciones entre los entramados sociales que configuran las competencias futbolísticas a nivel local, y las disposiciones corporales construidas en torno a estructu-ras socio-históricas de larga duración dentro del área
