In the last years there has been a scientific and social growing interest in the study of the mobbing or psychological abuse in the workplace, being deepened in aspects such as their delimitation or prevention. The aim of this theoretical work is to carry out an exhaustive revision of the existent research in this field, showing the different approaches and theoretical models and aspects such as the mobbing components, its antecedents or the form in that this phenomenon has been historically measured. In the same way, this study also offers an approach about the theoretical-methodological difficulties in the study of the mobbing, standing out different problems as its cultural component, its subjectivity, the relevancy of considering to third, the high invisibility of its behaviours or the vague in its frequency. Thus, it is sought to contribute to an optimization of the efforts for the present and future investigation on the phenomenon
En los últimos años ha habido un creciente interés científico y social en el estudio del mobbing o abuso psicológico en el lugar de trabajo, profundizándose en aspectos tales como su delimitación o su prevención. Este trabajo teórico tiene como objetivo realizar una exhaustiva revisión de las investigaciones existentes en este campo, mostrando las distintas aproximaciones y modelos teóricos predominantes y, aspectos tales como las formas y componentes del mobbing, sus antecedentes o la forma en que este fenómeno ha sido históricamente medido. Del mismo modo, este estudio ofrece una aproximación acerca de las dificultades teórico-metodológicas en el estudio del mobbing, resaltando distintas problemáticas como su componente cultural, su subjetividad, la pertinencia de considerar a terceros, la alta invisibilidad de sus conductas o la borrosidad en su frecuencia. De este modo, se pretende contribuir a una optimización de los esfuerzos para la presente y futura investigación sobre el fenómeno
