Descripción del título

The aim of this article is to present a historiographical review of the sources of power of the queen Eleanor of Castile (1241-1290). Relational and material sources are analysed thematically, since they have been established as the fundamental basis of her queenship by Anglo-Saxon historiography. Our conclusion is that research on the sources of power of Eleanor of Castile still offers many possibilities of study. Therefore, it is imperative to continue studying the elements that made her queenship possible
