On the basis of the reading of texts by Freud and Lacan, among others, the authors inquire into the fascination exerted on Western youth by the call to barbarism and the love of a "One", whose religious attire is nothing but a cynical and false illusion that we thought outdated by now. After Freud and "The Future of an Illusion" and after the downfall of the patriarchate, how can we think the spread of this phenomenon of radicalization and the call to a One true god, in a culture that has progressively vacated that locus of power? What is this alarming phenomenon an effect of in the postmodern era?
A partir de la lectura de textos de Freud y de Lacan, entre otros, los autores se interrogan acerca de la fascinación que ejerce sobre jóvenes occidentales el llamado a la barbarie y al amor de un "Uno", cuyos atuendos religiosos no son más que cínicos y falsos espejismos de una ilusión que creíamos caduca. Después de Freud y el "El porvenir de una ilusión" y después de la caída del patriarcado, cómo pensar la extensión de este fenómeno de radicalización y de llamado a Un dios verdadero, en una cultura que ha vaciado progresivamente ese lugar del poder? De qué retorno en la postmodernidad es efecto este alarmante fenómeno?
