The author insists on the necessity of getting a synthetic vision of the landscape in order to set the basis of a consequent ordenation. So it comes up the possihility of reaching that synthesis within the Physical Geography, which would come out in what we call the 'landscape science '. He emphasizes the historical aspects of the landscape, sometimes of such importance as the hiotical and abiotical aspects. In the last part of this article the general ideas of the author are exposed as far as the landscape ordenation and nature conservation are concerned; the ultraconservatism theories of the romantic movements are underestimated and it is established a more realistic vision hefore the necessities of the present world. That is the way in which the studies of the integrated landscape gives hetter possihilities of action
El autor insiste especialmente en la necesidad de lograr una visión sintética del territorio para sentar las bases de una ordenación consecuente. Se plantea así la posibilidad de alcanzar esa síntesis dentro de la geografía física, que desembocaría en la llamada 'ciencia del paisaje>>. Se pone especial énfasis en los aspectos históricos del paisaje, en ocasiones de tanta importancia como los aspectos bióticos y abióticos. En la última parte del trabajo se exponen las líneas generales del pensamiento del autor en cuanto a la ordenación del territorio y la conservación de la naturaleza; se desechan las teorías ultraconservacionistas de los movimientos románticos y se plantea una visión más realista de cara a las necesidades del mundo actual. En este sentido es en el que los estudios de paisaje integrado ofrecen mayores posibilidades de actuación
