This research, elaborated on the games and traditional sports of the Canary Islands (aboriginal games, traditional motor games, and traditional sports) tries to find, from a comparison of their characteristics, the sociocultural and praxeology's keys to understand the similarities or differences between the three groups studied and the interpretation that entails and all done in a diachronic and synchronic approach. This study presents a brief description of the various motor practices that are traditional from the Canary Islands, the adjustment of its cataloging process, and finally five features are analyze in a comparative way (motor interaction, motor communication network, degree of standardization of the space, temporality and scoring system) belonging to a broader analysis that has been developed for the documentation of these practices
Este trabajo, elaborado sobre los juegos y deportes tradicionales de Canarias (juegos aborígenes, juegos motores tradicionales y deportes tradicionales) trata de encontrar, a partir de la comparación de sus rasgos caracterizadores, las claves praxiológicas y socioculturales que permitan entender las semejanzas o diferencias existentes entre los tres grupos estudiados y la interpretación que comporta, y todo ello hecho de manera diacrónica y sincrónica. Se presenta una breve descripción de las diversas prácticas motrices de Canarias de carácter tradicional, se justifica su proceso de catalogación, y finalmente se analizan, de forma comparada, cinco rasgos (interacción motriz, red de comunicación motriz, grado de estandarización del espacio, temporalidad y sistema de tanteo) pertenecientes a un análisis más amplio que se ha desarrollado para la catalogación de estas prácticas
