• Bioethical principles governing the research should also be applied to the development of the research question, so that it complies with the premises of respect for said principles of beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy and justice, as well as with the technical conditions. It would not be justifiable to set out a work that would not provide either a benefit to people or a relevant advance in knowledge. • Different interests may be in the origin of ethical conflicts in research, whether by the researcher himself or by the institutions and funding entities, as well as problems relating to falsification, plagiarism and other issues concerning the publications of the obtained results and the authorship thereof. • Science and research are subject to bioethical principles that grant them the status of specifically human acts. Bioethics, as a sub-discipline of ethics that studies the moral aspect of life and healthcare sciences, has been developing from the mid-20th century to nowadays, and its application in research is guaranteed by the Research Ethics Committees. However, no committee substitutes for the moral quality of the researcher, who is the true guarantor of the ethical excellence of a research work
• Los principios bioéticos que rigen la investigación deben aplicarse también a la elaboración de la pregunta de investigación, para que ésta cumpla, además de las condiciones técnicas, las premisas de respeto a dichos principios de beneficencia, no maleficencia, autonomía y justicia. No sería justificable plantear un trabajo que no aportara un beneficio a las personas, ni un avance relevante en el conocimiento. • Distintos intereses pueden ser el origen de conflictos éticos en investigación, ya sean por parte del propio investigador, como por parte de las instituciones y entidades financiadoras, así como problemas en referencia a falsificación, plagio y otras cuestiones en torno a las publicaciones de los resultados obtenidos y a la autoría de las mismas. • La ciencia y la investigación están sujetas a principios bioéticos que le confieren la condición de actos específicamente humanos. La bioética, como sub-disciplina de la ética que estudia y la dimensión moral de las ciencias de la vida y del cuidado de la salud, ha ido desarrollándose desde mediados del siglo XX hasta nuestros días y su aplicación en la investigación es garantizada por los comités de ética en investigación. Sin embargo ningún comité sustituye la calidad moral del investigador, verdadero garante de la altura ética de un trabajo investigador
