We present three medieval billion coins that add to the number of the very rare Compostela dineros and meajas of Fernando II, billions that reveal the specificity of the Jacobean fenomenon, at the same time that they highlight the power that the compostelan archbishop has brought together, all within a context of economic expansion, social and political structuring, which is accompanied by a religious fervor that will place Compostela as one of the capitals of Christianity to this day
Presentamos tres ejemplares jacobeos que engrosan el número de los rarísimos dineros y meajas compostelanos de Fernando II, vellones que ponen de manifiesto la especificidad jacobea al mismo tiempo que remarcan el poder que ha aunado el arzobispado compostelano, todo ello dentro de un contexto de expansión económica, estructuración social y política, que va acompañado de un fervor religioso que situará a Compostela como una de las capitales de la Cristiandad hasta el día de hoy
