Teaching the musical language is a very hard task that, sooner or later, must be faced by every music teacher. But, should we teach this musical language at school, starting even at Infant Education stage? Although some pedagogues have defended an opposite view, the investigations in musical psychology point that not only it is possible, but we will be encouraging the language development of the students. This article proposes a series of didactic songs focused towards the learning of musical notation of the pentatonic scale. This material is thought to be used in the second cycle of Infant Education and the first cycle of Primary Education. Together with these songs, there is a didactic guide for its use. The model means to be open, flexible, active and meaningful for the student
Enseñar el lenguaje musical es siempre una tarea ardua que todos los profesores de música tenemos que abordar. Pero, debemos enseñar el lenguaje musical en la escuela, y aún en la etapa de infantil? Aunque algunos pedagogos han mantenido una postura contraria, las investigaciones en psicología de la música apuntan a que no solo es posible, sino que además estaremos potenciando el desarrollo del lenguaje. El artículo propone una serie de canciones didácticas enfocadas hacia el aprendizaje de las notas musicales de la escala pentatónica. Este material está pensado para ser utilizado en el segundo ciclo de educación infantil y en el primer ciclo de primaria. Junto a estas canciones se ofrece una guía didáctica para su utilización.
