This article is the result of the research entitled Creativity in Teaching Practice and aims to characterize the creativity and analyze some repercussions and implications of creative teaching practices for school work. The research is a multiple case study of a qualitative nature and involved thirteen teachers of the municipal public network of Belford Roxo, Rio de Janeiro. The research indicates, in addition, the need to invest in the human being, in the incessant formation and in teacher's fair remuneration, aiming to motivate, to develop and to fully value these professionals' creativity, in order to contribute for the building of an autonomous education
O presente artigo é fruto da pesquisa intitulada Criatividade na Prática Pedagógica e tem como objetivo caracterizar a criatividade e analisar algumas repercussões e implicações das práticas pedagógicas criativas para o trabalho escolar. A pesquisa caracterizou-se como um estudo de casos múltiplos de natureza qualitativa e envolveu treze professores da rede pública municipal de Belford Roxo, Rio de Janeiro. A pesquisa apresentada aponta a necessidade de investir na pessoa humana, na formação permanente e na valorização financeira dos profissionais da educação, com o intuito de incentivar, desenvolver e valorizar plenamente a criatividade desses profissionais, a fim de contribuir para a construção de uma educação para a autonomia
