Características y manejo del lecho de las heridas crónicas

The preparation of the wound bed should not be seen as separate from the overall evaluation of the wound. In our usual practice, as a response to the healing of chronic wounds, we can find different types of bed such as granulation, naturalized fibrin biofilm, bacterial biofilm, denatured fibrin film and necrosis. In this article, we describe the characteristics of 6 - types of wound beds that can occur in a chronic injury, and that is important to know for a proper approach

La preparación del lecho de la herida no debería contemplarse como algo separado de la evaluación global de la lesión. En nuestra práctica habitual, como respuesta a la cicatrización de heridas crónicas podremos encontrar distintos tipos de lecho. En este artículo describimos las características de 6 tipos de lechos de heridas que pueden darse en una lesión crónica, y que es determinante conocer para un adecuado abordaje
