This article will offer an approach to the autofictional character of Maxim Biller, framed mainly in Der gebrauchte Jude, from a mixed perspective: as a frontier character and, also, as a periphery one. This is intended, on the one hand, to find a new space for discussion on the possibilities and limits of the use of postcolonial theory in the German-Jewish context, as well as an analysis on the use of mockery and satire as strategic elements in the cultural and literary context of post-Shoah Germany. On the other hand, the possibilities and limits of a peripheral discourse that looks at the Israeli center will also be explored. This approach will aim to analyze such a relationship as a psychic space where phenomena such as reflection, projection, and aspiration occur
En este artículo se ofrece una aproximación al personaje autoficticio de Maxim Biller, enmarcado principalmente en Der gebrauchte Jude, desde una perspectiva mixta: como personaje de frontera y, también, como personaje de periferia. Con esto se pretende, por un lado, encontrar un nuevo espacio de discusión sobre las posibilidades y límites del uso de la teoría postcolonial en el contexto germano-judío, así como analizar el uso de la burla y la sátira como elementos estratégicos en el contexto cultural y literario de la Alemania post-Shoá. Por otro lado, se explorarán también las posibilidades y límites de un discurso de periferia que mire al centro israelí. Esta aproximación tendrá como finalidad la de analizar tal relación como espacio psíquico donde se producen fenómenos como el reflejo, la proyección y la aspiración
