In this article it is rehearsed to stand out the social character of the paradigm conception elaborated by Thomas Kuhn (USA, 1922) that has been object of an intense debate reflected in the works of qualified authors that have approached the Kuhnian concept like study object. This notion mentions to theoretical and methodological questions anything despicable for the implications that have in the coherence, rigor, systematic and quality of the practice of social investigation

En este artículo se ensaya resaltar el carácter social de la concepción de paradigma elaborada por Thomas Kuhn (USA, 1922), que ha sido objeto de un intenso debate reflejado en las obras de calificados autores que han abordado el concepto Kuhniano como objeto de estudio. Esta noción alude a cuestiones teóricas y metodológicas nada desdeñables por las implicaciones que tienen en la coherencia, rigor, sistematicidad y calidad de la práctica de investigación social
