En la Ética. Lecciones en la Universidad de Múnich, Guardini habla de síntomas culturales que evidencian un desasosiego interior en el hombre moderno y que él denomina dialécticas del malestar. En este artículo analizamos estas antinomias a la luz de los tres pilares sobre los que a juicio de Guardini se levanta la Edad Moderna: sujeto, naturaleza y cultura. In his Ethics Lessons Guardini speaks of cultural symptoms that reveal an inner disquiet in modern man and what he calls dialectics of distress. In this article, we analyze these antinomies in the light of the three pillars on which, according to Guardini, the Modern Age rises: subject, nature and culture. These concepts, present in the ancient world and in medieval Christianity acquire a new significance in the light of modern autonomy
