Tot i els més nombrosos estudis sobre les relacions entre la Corona de Castella i Flandes a finals de l?Edat Mitjana, també la Corona d?Aragó mantenia intenses relacions comercials amb els Països Baixos del sud, i la moda flamenca arrelaria igualment a Catalunya. Moltes de les pintures flamenques importades a terres catalanes entre mitjans del segle XV i principis del XVI, anirien a vestir diversos dels edificis situats al Camí de Sant Jaume a Catalunya
Although there are more studies about the relationships between the Crown of Castile and Flanders in the late Middle Ages, the Crown of Aragon also mantained strong commercial relations with the southern Netherlands, and the Flemish fashion rooted in Catalonia too. Many of the Flemish paintings imported into Catalan lands between the mid - 15th century and early 16th went inside various buildings in the Saint James Way in Catalonia
