In this study, in the light of the structures and of ceramics, it was characterize the human occupation at Crestelos farm in high middle age. Were identified two distinct periods: one that includes the V-VI centuries and other centuries VII-VIII. e ceramics and the identified structures corroborate this segmentation, which does not involve cutting or occupational hiatus. e structures registered, indicate a local occupation whit housing level want from activities linked to agriculture. To complete this occupation are exhumed materials of which we highlight the ceramics, because the quantity, the quality and decorative types associated with this chronological period
Procurou-se neste estudo, à luz das estruturas e das cerâmicas, caracterizar a ocupação humana na Quinta de Crestelos em época alto medieval. Foram identificados dois períodos distintos: um que compreende os séculos V-VI e outro os séculos VII-VIII. Quer as cerâmicas quer as estruturas identifiicadas corroboram esta segmentação, o que não implica corte ou hiato ocupacional. As estruturas registadas, indicam uma ocupação do local quer ao nível habitacional quer de actividades ligadas à agro-pecuária. A completar esta ocupação estão os materiais exumados dos quais destacamos as cerâmicas, quer pela quantidade, quer pela qualidade e tipologias decorativas associadas a este período cronológico
