Samuel Schkolnik (1944-2010) was a leading Argentine philosopher and literary man. He was born and died in the city of San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. His thought was not characterized for being systematic, never the less it is possible to find common subject-matters along his varied work, for example the death, the universal thing, the publicthing, the society, the time, the sense of life, etc. This reflection on the philosophy's essential questions lead him to refuse the academic imperatives. In spite of the vastness of subject matter streated by the tucuman's philosopher, in this work I will attempt to expose and analyze his ideas about the aesthetic thing. In other words, this paper has the aim to examine and systematize Samuel Schkolnik's aesthetic conception
Samuel Schkolnik (1944-2010) fue un destacado filósofo y literato argentino.Nació y murió en la ciudad de San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. Su pensamiento nose caracterizó por ser sistemático, sin embargo es posible hallar temáticas comunes alo largo de su variada obra, como por ejemplo la muerte, lo universal, lo público, lasociedad, el tiempo, el sentido de la vida, etc. Esta reflexión sobre las preguntasesenciales de la filosofía lo llevó muchas veces a renegar de los cánones académicos.A pesar de la vastedad de temáticas tratadas por el filósofo tucumano, en este trabajointentaréexponer y analizar sus ideas en torno a lo estético. En otras palabras, elobjetivo de este escrito consiste en examinar e intentar sistematizar la concepciónestética de Samuel Schkolnik
