This research analyzes the explanatory factors of the Accounting and Tax Information Quality Ranking of Brazilian municipalities for the year 2019. As a quantitative metric, the GLM regression model with Gamma Distribution and the identity link function were used. The 5.570 Brazilian municipalities were analyzed, and 2.013 were excluded. The results showed that the variables FIRJAN Index of Municipal Development (IFDM), Municipal Management Effectiveness Index (IEGM) and GDP per capita, the cities located in the Southeast and North regions and municipal management with a bias of left-center party ideology influence in the ranking note

Esta pesquisa analisa os fatores explicativos do Ranking da Qualidade da Informação Contábil e Fiscal dos municípios brasileiros para o ano de 2019. Utilizou-se, como métrica quantitativa, o modelo de regressão GLM com Distribuição Gama e função de ligação a identidade. Foram analisados os 5.570 municípios brasileiros, sendo excluídos, 2.013. Os resultados evidenciaram que as variáveis Índice FIRJAN do Desenvolvimento Municipal (IFDM), Índice de Efetividade da Gestão Municipal (IEGM) e PIB per capita, as cidades localizadas nas regiões Sudeste e Norte e a gestão municipal com viés de ideologia partidária de Centro Esquerda influenciam na nota do Ranking

Esta investigación analiza los factores explicativos del Ranking de Calidad de la Información Contable y Tributaria de los municipios brasileños para el año 2019. Como métrica cuantitativa, se utilizó el modelo de regresión GLM con Distribución Gamma y la función de vínculo de identidad. Se analizaron los 5.570 municipios brasileños y se excluyeron 2.013. Los resultados mostraron que las variables Índice FIRJAN de Desarrollo Municipal (IFDM), Índice de Efectividad de la Gestión Municipal (IEGM) y PIB per cápita, los municipios ubicados en las regiones Sudeste y Norte y gestión municipal con sesgo de ideología partidaria de centro-izquierda influyen en la nota de clasificación
