The aim of this case-control study was to establish a prototypical irrational dependent personality disorder repertoire of beliefs, values and concepts in a group of 24 participants diagnosed with Bucaramanga (Colombia). Two groups were classified by Multiaxial Personality Inventory MCMI-III (Cardinal & Sanchez, 2007) and SCID II (Structured Clinical Interview for Personality Disorders Axis II DSM-IV (First, 1999). They structured individual interviews were evocative Questionnaire beliefs, concepts and values irrational (Ellis, 1993), to obtain 5 values, 12 and 15 concepts irrational beliefs characteristic of the disorder in the group of cases that were validated in a report Auto beliefs, concepts and irrational values of dependent personality disorder demonstrated 12 weeks after a X2 = 37,634 that with p ≤ 0.001 and df = 23, was lower than expected X2 = 49.728
El artículo presenta resultados de un estudio piloto cuyo objetivo fue establecer un repertorio de creencias, valores y conceptos irracionales prototípicos del trastorno dependiente de la personalidad en un grupo de 24 participantes diagnosticados, en Bucaramanga (Colombia). Se clasificaron los dos grupos mediante el Inventario Multiaxial de Personalidad MCMI-III (Cardenal & Sánchez, 2007) y la SCID II (Entrevista clínica estructurada para los trastornos de la personalidad del eje II del DSM-IV (First, 1999). Se les hicieron entrevistas individuales estructuradas con el Cuestionario evocativo de creencias, conceptos y valores irracionales (Ellis, 1993), obteniendo 5 valores, 12 conceptos y 15 creencias característicos irracionales del trastorno en el grupo de los casos que se ratificaron en un Auto informe de creencias, conceptos y valores irracionales del trastorno de personalidad dependiente 12 semanas después demostrado en un X2=37,634 que con una p≤0.001 y gl=23, fue inferior al esperado X2= 49.728
