The neoliberal regime of accumulation and reproduction of the fundamental classes had serious consequences for the public health system of our country that underwent a process of descentralización, privatization and targeting of the attention areas. In response, strong processes to combat this shift in social policy were developed. In this paper we analyze the collective actions taken by the workers in the Castro Hospital Rendon (HCR) of Neuquén in 2005. From participant observation and in depth semi-structured interviews, we analyzed the process of intensification of conflict in the State during the last term of Jorge Omar Sobisch in the province, recovering the meanings that actors now give to their militant practices and their forms of organization
El régimen neoliberal de acumulación y de reproducción de las clases fundamentales tuvo serias consecuencias en el sistema público de salud de nuestro país, que vivió un proceso de descentralización, privatización y focalización de las áreas de atención. Como respuesta, se desarrollaron fuertes procesos de lucha contra este giro en la política social. En este trabajo analizaremos las acciones colectivas de los trabajadores del Hospital Castro Rendón (HCR) de Neuquén Capital en el año 2005. A partir de observaciones participantes y entrevistas semi-estructuradas en profundidad se analizó el proceso de agudización del conflicto en el Estado durante el último mandato de Jorge Omar Sobisch en la provincia, recuperando los sentidos que los actores le adjudican a sus prácticas militantes y a sus formas de organización
