The aim of this study is to deepen into the relationship between fiction and Theory from the prose work of Javier García Rodríguez, with the conviction that it is a self-conscious narrative writing in whose bosom both discourses overlap to resume a productive dialectic that enriches them. To this end, Sontag's against interpretation premises are taken into account; we intend to find the formal function of fiction (and Theory), an erotics based on a subject -or a mask- that makes us understand that we are, unfortunately, fiction readers
El propósito de este trabajo es profundizar en la relación entre ficción y teoría a partir de la obra en prosa de Javier García Rodríguez, con el convencimiento de que se trata de una practica narrativa que se pone así misma en evidencia y en cuyo seno ambos discursos se superponen para sintetizar una dialéctica productiva que los enriquece. Para ello, se toman en consideración las premisas contrainterpretativas de Susan Sontag, en busca de la "función formal" de la ficción (y de la teoría), de una erótica sustentada en un sujeto -o, mejor, una máscara- que nos hace comprender que, por desgracia, somos lectores de ficción
