Adaptaciones geográficas de la casa moderna en Colombia Cuatro casos de estudio en el litoral, el valle, la montaña y el altiplano

The article presents an analysis of the relationships between Domestic Architecture -built between the 1950s and 1960s- and the geographical characteristics of Colombia. Through the built works, the research exposes the organic link between the territory -the tópos- and the different architectural types that emerged in accordance with it. In particular, houses from the firms Obregón-Valenzuela, Borrero-Zamorano-Giovanelli, and architects Gutiérrez-Arango-Sanint, who conceived houses on the coast, the valley, the hillside and the high plateau, are studied. The reflection focuses on the variations and invariables of building types, in other words, the structure they share and that in which they differ. The above is first accomplished by providing a description of the geography in which they are located, then, it depicts the way in which each of the houses establishes a relationship with the site. Thus, a contribution to the reflection on the 20th century Modern Architecture in Colombia is constituted, with a look at the topological dimension of the house

Se presenta un análisis sobre las relaciones entre la arquitectura doméstica construida durante las décadas de 1950 y 1960 y las características geográficas de Colombia. El artículo expone, a través de las obras, el vínculo orgánico entre el territorio -el tópos- y los diferentes tipos arquitectónicos que surgieron acordes con este. Particularmente, se estudian los casos de las firmas Obregón-Valenzuela y Borrero-Zamorano-Giovanelli, y de los arquitectos Gutiérrez-Arango-Sanint, quienes concibieron casas en el litoral, el valle, la montaña y el altiplano. La reflexión gira en torno a las variaciones y las invariantes de los tipos edificatorios; es decir, la estructura que comparten y aquello en lo cual se diferencian. Para eso, primero se presenta una descripción de la geografía en la que se asientan. Luego se caracteriza el modo como cada una de las casas establece relación con el sitio. Se configura, entonces, un aporte a la reflexión sobre la arquitectura moderna del siglo XX en Colombia, con una mirada a la dimensión topológica de la casa
