During the last decades, States have undergone a series of profound transformations. They have modified the old idea of Weberian bureaucracy to mutate into intelligent states based on the incorporation of technologies, robotization, artificial intelligence and endless advances that have made it possible to digitize processes, promote new forms of social interrelationships, open data policies and social participation. In this dynamic and constantly changing world, the State as we know it today is but a snapshot of the past. The future, the advance of new technologies and the advent of immersive worlds invite (and even force) States to rethink and put their current morphology in check. Today the State must contemplate these new realities, meet the demands of the digital native generations and incorporate, in an immersive world, the next stage of humanity in terms of development and innovation
Durante las últimas décadas, los Estados han transitado una serie de transformaciones profundas. Han modificado la vieja idea de burocracia weberiana para mutar en Estados inteligentes a partir de la incorporación de tecnologías, la robotización, la inteligencia artificial y un sinfín de avances que han permitido digitalizar procesos, promover nuevas formas de interrelaciones sociales, políticas de apertura de datos y de participación social. En este mundo dinámico y en constante transformación, el Estado tal como lo conocemos hoy no es sino una foto que muestra el pasado. El futuro, el avance de las nuevas tecnologías y el advenimiento de los mundos inmersivos invitan (e incluso obligan) a repensar los Estados y ponen en jaque su morfología actual. Hoy el Estado debe contemplar esas nuevas realidades, atender las demandas de las generaciones nativas digitales e incorporar, en mundo inmersivo, la próxima etapa de la humanidad en materia de desarrollo e innovación
