This article examines the influence exerted by violence in the construction of the State. Likewise, from the perspective of Hannah Arendt, politics is analyzed as a space where life is affirmed and protected through political action and legal norms. It is about reasoning the political-violence dualism, and violence-legal norms. In this sense, the question that gives rise to this writing is stated in the following terms: how is it possible to reaffirm life as a will through politics and take care of human existence in a context where violence seems to be consubstantial to the state form and how the political community is built? A rigorous examination of the circumstances that force the analysis of this question, necessarily leads to assert that "life can only be affirmed through the exercise of politics, when the political society is conceived as an institutional construction whose main goal is to combine the freedom of individuals and collectivities with the unity of legal norms
En este artículo se examina la influencia que ejerce la violencia en la construcción del Estado. Asimismo, desde la perspectiva de Hannah Arendt, se analiza la política como espacio donde se afirma y protege la vida a través de la acción política y las normas jurídicas. Se trata de razonar el dualismo política-violencia, y violencia-normas jurídicas. En este sentido, la pregunta que da origen al presente escrito se enuncia en los siguientes términos: cómo es posible reafirmar la vida como voluntad a través de la política y cuidar de la existencia humana en un contexto en donde la violencia pareciera ser consustancial a la forma de estado y al medio por el cual se construye la comunidad política? Un examen riguroso de las circunstancian que fuerzan el análisis de este interrogante conduce necesariamente a sostener que: solo se podrá afirmar la vida a través del ejercicio de la política, cuando la sociedad política sea concebida como una construcción institucional cuya meta principal sea combinar la libertad de los individuos y las colectividades con la unidad de las normas jurídicas
