Alain Caillé y el paradigma...
This text proposes a reading of the work of the French sociologist Alain Caillé, focusing on the problem of the social order that the author works on the basis of Marcel Mauss's "theory of the gift". This problem is fundamental to position the gift as the third paradigm of social action, and that problematizes the utilitarian model. So, in our argument, we try to account for the problem of social order in sociology; from here to relieve Mauss theory as an alternative paradigm to individualism and holism, showing in this review the consequences that utilitarianism has generated in the way of thinking about the gift. In this line, a reading is proposed that highlights the dialectical component of the gift as logic as strategy and as a relational paradigm; and that allows another form of critical intelligibility for the social sciences in order to enable contemporary social struggles
En este texto se propone una lectura de la obra del sociólogo francés Alain Caillé, centrándonos en el problema del orden social que el autor trabaja con base en la "teoría del don" de Marcel Mauss. Se trata de un problema fundamental para posicionar al don como tercer paradigma de la acción social, y que problematiza el modelo utilitarista; de manera que, en nuestra argumentación, intentamos dar cuenta del problema del orden social en la sociología; para desde aquí relevar la teoría de Mauss como un paradigma alternativo al individualismo y al holismo. En esta revisión mostramos las consecuencias que el utilitarismo ha generado en la manera de pensar el don. En esta línea, se propone una lectura que remarca el componente dialéctico del don como lógica, como estrategia y como un paradigma relacional, que permite otra forma de inteligibilidad crítica para las ciencias sociales en miras de habilitar las luchas sociales contemporáneas
