The purpose of this paper is to highlight the social, environmental, and territorial injustices present in the department of Chocó in the period 2008-2019. The theories of justice and sustainable development are used to contribute to the transformation of exclusionary and unequal social relations that are justified through mechanisms of oppression, grabbing, and territorial racism. It is a qualitative study that illustrates how social and environmental injustices in the department are due to a development model that deepens relations of exploitation, commodification, discrimination, and subordination of citizens. The conclusions indicate the coexistence of multiple mechanisms of social exclusion that generate vulnerability, deprivation of rights, and an increase in social conflict intervened with authoritarian governance strategies
El propósito del artículo es evidenciar las injusticias sociales, ambientales y territoriales del departamento del Chocó entre 2008 y 2019. Se acude a las teorías de la justicia y el desarrollo sustentable para contribuir a la transformación de relaciones sociales excluyentes y desiguales que son justificadas mediante mecanismos de opresión, acaparamiento y racismo territorial. Es un estudio cualitativo que muestra cómo las injusticias sociales y ambientales del departamento, obedecen a un modelo de desarrollo que profundiza relaciones de explotación, mercantilización, discriminación y subordinación de los ciudadanos. Las conclusiones señalan la coexistencia de múltiples mecanismos de exclusión social generadores de vulnerabilidad, privación de derechos y un aumento de la conflictividad social intervenida con estrategias de gobernanza autoritaria
