Tourism in the area Cascadas de Micos del Municipio de Ciudad Valles, S.L.P. It is an important activity, which can and should be promoted to become an economic trigger for the municipality, but it must be done in an orderly manner, that is, strategically planned with the purpose of reducing environmental damage and cultural heritage of the region, offering an infrastructure and services that meet the standards and requirements necessary to provide a quality service. This project was carried out during the summer of 2019, through the application of surveys that analyze some aspects of the visitor's profile, degree of satisfaction in the infrastructure and in the services currently offered by the site, with the validity of experts on the subject of the State Tourism Sub-Delegation in the Huasteca Zone and the Municipal Tourism Directorate of Ciudad Valles. Derived from the study carried out, a great niche of opportunity is identified in the areas of infrastructure and services, which will allow improving the operation in the socioeconomic, cultural and environmental field, with the purpose of contributing to its sustainable tourism development
El turismo en el paraje Cascadas de Micos del Municipio de Ciudad Valles, S.L.P. es una actividad importante, la cual puede y debe impulsarse hasta convertirse en un detonante económico para el municipio, pero es necesario que se haga de una manera ordenada, es decir, planeándose estratégicamente con el propósito de disminuir los daños ambientales y en el patrimonio cultural de la región, ofertando una infraestructura y servicios que cumplan con las normas y los requisitos necesarios para brindar un servicio de calidad. El presente proyecto se realizó durante el verano 2019, a través de la aplicación de encuestas en las que se analizan algunos aspectos del perfil del visitante, grado de satisfacción en la infraestructura y en los servicios que ofrece actualmente el paraje, contando con la validez de expertos en el tema de la Subdelegación de Turismo del Estado en la Zona Huasteca y de la Dirección de Turismo Municipal de Ciudad Valles. Derivado del estudio realizado, se identifica un gran nicho de oportunidad en las áreas de infraestructura y de servicios, que permitirá mejorar la operatividad en el ámbito socioeconómico, cultural y ambiental, con el propósito de contribuir a su desarrollo turístico sostenible
