Con una Unión Europea de los 28 miembros, y de plena actualidad la situación económica griega, no podemos dejar de hacernos preguntas sobre la energía, y sobre todo sobre qué modelo energético queremos que nuestro continente tenga. Si preferimos un modelo basado en la sostenibilidad y la efciencia o un modelo basado en el consumo desmedido, en el "usar y tirar", mientras que otros se encarguen de buscar debajo de las piedras - no obstante la geotermia es una de las energías renova- bles más utilizadas en la actualidad - la fuente energética más idónea, aunque suponga seguir in- crementando las emisiones de Gases de Efecto Invernadero (GEI) y seguir dependiendo del exterior y de las mismas fuentes tradicionales. Este artículo intenta poner negro sobre blanco cuáles deberían ser los pilares sobre los que diseñar las políticas energéticas, para hacer descansar en una economía circular, el peso del futuro común
