En los últimos años se ha venido observando un resurgimiento de las operaciones militares francesas en África: primero con la Operación Harmattan en Libia 2011, después con la operación Serval en Mali en enero de 2013 y por último desde diciembre de 2013 con la operación Sangaris en la República Centroafricana. Este artículo ofrece un análisis de esta dinámica comenzada durante la Presidencia de Nicolás Sarkozy y que continúa con la de François Hollande. Concretamente analizaremos la política exterior de Francia en la franja del Sahel-Sahara, en especial la parte oeste de esta región y principalmente desde el punto de vista de la seguridad
In recent years, we have seen the resurgence of French military operations in Africa. First, Operation Harmattan in Libya 2011, after this, the Operation Serval in Mali in January 2013 and, finally, since December 2013, the Operation Sangaris in the Central African Republic. This article provides an analysis of this dynamic that began during the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy and continued with that of Francois Hollande.
