The paradigm of the Spanish justice had the judges and their correct doings at its center, so that their unblemished conduct would safeguard the decisions made within the courts. This paper will analyze the legal argument of licenciado Sebastian Zambrana de Villalobos in favor of the marriage of his son with a distinguished lady from the Charqueña jurisdiction. El paradigma de la justicia castellana tenía en su centro a los magistrados y su correcto accionar, a fin de que su impoluta conducta salvaguardara las decisiones que se tomaban al interior de los tribunales. Este trabajo analizará la argumentación jurídica del licenciado Sebastián Zambrana de Villalobos a favor del casamiento de su hijo con una destacada dama de la jurisdicción charqueña. La pieza que redactó el oidor es un sugestivo alegato retórico que utiliza el Ius Commune para escapar a las prohibiciones que se habían establecido en Madrid. Un ejemplo palmario que pretende iluminar las relaciones sociales que ambicionaron establecer ciertos magistrados hispanoamericanos
