"Tur 'ibrí", la columna en hebreo, en el semanario El Tiempo de Tel Aviv

This article discusses the "Tur Ivri", the 'Hebrew column' of the weekly Judeo-Spanish El Tiempo, which was published in Tel Aviv (Israel) between 1950 and 1967. The "Tur Ivri" was written by the 'Berit Ivrit Olamit' (the Hebraist World League) to promote and disseminate the Hebrew language over the Jewish communities and also in Israel. The "Tur Ivri" was published in three levels of linguistic complexity accompanied by a Judeo-Spanish glossary. The objectives of the "Tur Ivri" were to teach Hebrew to the Judeo-Spanish-speaking immigrant, provide a broad view of the country, and facilitate the process of adjustment to the new society. Teaching Hebrew was part of the campaign of integration of the State of Israel

El presente artículo analiza el 'Tur 'ibrí', la 'columna hebrea' del semanario en judeoespañol El Tiempo, publicado en Tel Aviv (Israel) entre 1950 y 1967. Los textos del 'Tur 'ibrí' fueron escritos por el Berit 'Ibrit 'Olamit ('Liga Hebraísta Mundial') para promover y difundir el idioma hebreo en las comunidades de la diáspora y en Israel. El 'Tur 'ibrí' fue publicado en tres niveles de complejidad lingüística acompañados de un glosario en judeoespañol. Los objetivos del 'Tur 'ibrí' eran brindar al inmigrante de habla judeoespañola, además del aprendizaje del hebreo, una visión amplia del país y promover su adaptación al mismo. La enseñanza del hebreo a través de la prensa étnico-comunitaria fue parte de la campaña integracionista del Estado de Israel
