Dictionaries and linguistic literature classify déjà as an adverb pf time, considering that its meaning is linked to the notion of 'precocity', but they also recognize an interrogative use that would manifest a momentary forgetfulness, and another use would be added in which this lexical unit would refer to a 'partial result', among others. Here it is proposed to describe the various values of déjà as semantic entities pf the same lexical unit, applying a semantic-pragmatic perspective that takes polyphony into account. These semantic entities would have a common trait, the anteriority, and would respond to a particular treatment of this anteriority (temporary or enunciative), thus allowing the various uses of déjà to be characterized based on specific linguistic properties
Les dictionnaires et la littérature linguistique classent déjà parmi les adverbes de temps, sa signification étant liée à la notion de 'précocité', mais reconnaissent aussi un usage interrogatif qui manifesterait un oubli momentané, à ce qui s'ajoute un emploi de cette unité lexicale faisant référence à un 'résultat partiel', entre autres. C'est en appliquant une optique sémantico-pragmatique, faisant appel à la polyphonie, qu'on propose ici de décrire les diverses valeurs de déjà comme autant d'entités sémantiques d'une même unité lexicale. Ces entités sémantiques présenteraient un trait commun, l'antériorité, et répondraient à un traitement particulier de cette antériorité (temporelle ou énonciative), ce qui permettra de caractériser, à partir de propriétés linguistiques spécifiques, les divers emplois de déjà
Los diccionarios y la literatura lingüística clasifican déjà como adverbio de tiempo, considerando que su significado está ligado a la 'precocidad', pero reconocen además un uso interrogativo que manifestaría un olvido momentáneo, a lo que se añadiría otro empleo en que esta unidad léxica haría referencia a un 'resultado parcial', entre otros. Aquí se propone describir los diversos valores de déjà como entidades semánticas de una misma unidad léxica, aplicando una óptica semántico-pragmática que tiene en cuenta la polifonía. Estas entidades semánticas tendrían un rasgo común, la anterioridad, y responderían a un tratamiento particular de esta anterioridad (temporal o enunciativa), permitiendo así caracterizar los diversos empleos de déjà a partir de propiedades lingüísticas específicas
