The quantum theory of supersymmetry, known by its acronym SUSY, has generated an important opening for research on particles that are located beyond the primordial ones that make up the Standard Model and that are conceived as super partners. From here, a series of artists has applied their creative strategies to analyze and interpret this scientific speculation. Although the number of existing proposals is low in number, this has not prevented the quality of the materialized works, appearing high levels of reflection and imaginative maturity. A remarkable group of these authors has had stays at CERN, one of the main scientific centers for the study of elementary particles. Thanks to these exchanges, it has been possible to materialize different proposals with a very extensible character, ranging from highly computerized formats, assuming an immersive and multimedia sense, to proposals that include other supports such as video, photography, painting and installation, among others
La teoría cuántica de la supersimetría, conocida por su acrónimo SUSY, ha posibilitado una importante apertura para la investigación sobre partículas que se sitúan más allá de las primordiales que componen el Modelo Estándar y que se conciben como super compañeras. A partir de aquí una serie de artistas ha aplicado sus estrategias creativas para analizar e interpretar dicha especulación científica. Aunque el número de propuestas existentes son escasas en su número, esto no ha evitado que la calidad de los trabajos materializados presente altos índices de reflexión y madurez imaginativa, ya que un grupo destacable de estos autores ha disfrutado de estancias en el CERN, uno de los principales centros científicos para el estudio de las partículas elementales. Gracias a estos intercambios, se han podido materializar distintas propuestas con un carácter muy extensible, que abarcan desde formatos altamente computarizados, asumiendo un carácter inmersivo y multimedia, hasta propuestas que recogen otros soportes como el vídeo, la fotografía, la pintura y la instalación, entre otros
