Background: The vertiginous changes that contemporary society is experiencing transform and establish new dynamics and forms of relationship and exchange built among members of society. Objective: To analyze, through the jargon of adolescents, the changes that have currently taken place at this level. Method: Qualitative research with a grounded theory design. 4 discussion groups were conducted with adolescents between 13 and 18 years of age, with whom three categories of analysis were approached: sexuality, law, and social, obtaining several slang terms divided into subcategories. Results: There was evidence of forms of naming the body influenced by other languages; couple modalities characterized by the lack of choice and the immediacy of bonds; the disappearance of dissymmetry in the relationship to authority and the social sphere, relationships marked by terms proper to the world of social networks and the digitalization of culture. Discussion: The jargon of adolescents speaks of a social bond that, at present, fragilely regulates the pacts and exchanges between the speaking subjects, which produces an increase in violence as a characteristic of the relationship with the other
Antecedentes: Los cambios vertiginosos que vive la sociedad contemporánea, transforman y establecen nuevas dinámicas y formas de relación e intercambio que se construyen entre los miembros de la sociedad. Objetivo: Analizar a través de la jerga de los y las adolescentes, los cambios que se han producido actualmente a este nivel. Método: Investigación cualitativa con un diseño de teoría fundamentada. Se realizaron 4 grupos de discusión conformados por adolescentes de entre 13 y 18 años, con quienes se abordaron tres categorías de análisis: la sexualidad, la ley y lo social, llegando a obtener varios términos de la jerga que fueron divididos en subcategorías. Resultados: Se evidenciaron formas de nombrar al cuerpo influenciadas por otras lenguas; modalidades de pareja caracterizadas por la falta de elección y la inmediatez de los vínculos; desaparición de la disimetría en la relación a la autoridad y en lo social, relaciones marcadas por términos propios al mundo de las redes sociales y la digitalización de la cultura. Discusión: La jerga de los y las adolescentes dice de un lazo social que, en la actualidad, regula frágilmente los pactos e intercambios entre los sujetos hablantes, lo que produce un aumento de la violencia como característica de la relación al otro
