This article is a review of financing alternatives in the capital market for companies seeking to invest in their productive projects, especially in these times where competitive advantages are required that contribute to being at the forefront in a world immersed in constant changes. The methodology used was of the documentary type under the qualitative paradigm, with a data collection technique through observation and analysis of the reviewed documents, finding useful information on topics related to business financing in various texts and academic articles. In this sense, companies must know the types of capital markets and their participants, as well as the different alternatives available for financing, which will allow a greater understanding of this market, ensuring the obtaining of capital under favorable conditions, strengthening its structure. Financial and designing strategies that help them stimulate their businesses in order to achieve organizational objectives and boost economic growth. Finally, some conclusions are presented about the benefits that companies obtain with financing through the capital market, the integration of stock exchanges and some aspects of interest to guarantee the proper functioning of this market
VenezuelaRESUMENEl presente artículo es una revisión de las alternativas de financiamiento en el mercado de capitales para las empresas que buscan invertir en sus proyectos productivos, especialmente en estos tiempos donde se requiere de ventajas competitivas que contribuyan a estar a la vanguardia en un mundo sumergido en constantes cambios. La metodología utilizada fue del tipo documental bajo el paradigma cualitativo, con técnica de recolección de datos por medio de la observación y análisis de los documentos revisados,encontrándose información útil de temas relacionados con el financiamiento empresarial en diversos textos y artículos académicos. En tal sentido, las empresas deben conocer los tipos de mercados de capitales y sus participantes, así como las diferentes alternativas disponibles para su financiamiento, lo cual permitirá una mayor comprensión de este mercado, asegurando la obtención del capital en condiciones favorables, fortaleciendo su estructura financiera y diseñando las estrategias que les ayude a estimular sus negocios con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos organizacionales e impulsar el crecimiento económico. Finalmente, se presentan algunas conclusiones sobre los beneficios que obtienen las empresas con el financiamiento a través del mercado de capitales, la integración de las bolsas de valores y algunos aspectos de interés para garantizar el buen funcionamiento de este mercado
