The Libro Verdede Aragóncirculated in handwritten form around 1560 in Aragonese society, of which it discredited the most prominent members. Indeed, his genealogies revealed their Jewish origin in broad daylight at a time when certain functions were reserved only for applicants who could prove the purity of their blood (without a Jewish or Moorish ancestor).Several of these texts have come down to us. We are studying one of themin this paper: Manuscript 22846 of the National Library of Spain. It is the largest of all the LibrosVerdes.There appear therefore new and sometimes famous characters: Ruy Gómez de Silva, Juan Pérez de Oliván, Zurita, Antich de Bages, Doña Juana Pernstein, Duchess of Villahermosa, and Empress Doña María of Austria, sister of King Philippe II of Spain
ElLibro Verde de Aragónse difundió en forma manuscritaalrededor de 1560en la sociedad aragonesa, cuyos miembros más encumbrados desacreditaba. En efecto, sus genealogías revelaban, aplena luz, su origen judío en una época en que ciertas funciones estaban reservadas a los únicos candidatos que podían probar su limpieza de sangre (sin antepasados judíos o moros).Varios de estos libelos han llegado hasta nosotros y estudiamos aquí uno de ellos: el Manuscrito 22846de la Biblioteca Nacional de España.Es el más voluminoso de todos los que conocemos hasta hoy. A consecuencia, aparecen en él personajes nuevos y a veces famosos: RuyGómez de Silva, Juan Pérez de Oliván,Zurita, Antich de Bages, doña Juana de Pernstein, duquesa de Villahermosa, y la emperatriz doña María de Austria, hermana del rey Felipe II
