Introduction: In recent centuries, game has been a topic of study and discussion for various disciplines of human knowledge. This essay focuses its critical and reflective gaze on a specific type of game: the theatrical game and its 'productive' potential for the cons-truction of new and diverse realities. Development: The gaze is directed towards the game in relation to the playfulness-productive dialogue and towards the world of the players in their action, experimentation and creation of the theatrical game. This is explored based on Johan Huizinga's postulates of playfulness, and they are complemented with the views of Bolívar Echeverría on an ethos of the game, Roger Caillois on types of games, and Petronio Cáceres on notes of the game in the theater. Conclusion: A revaluation of the playfulness is proposed within the productive (aesthetic) values that theatrical game can have
Introducción: En los últimos siglos, el juego ha sido un tema de estudio y discusión para varias disciplinas del conocimiento humano. El presente ensayo centra su mirada crítica y reflexiva en un tipo específico de juego: el escénico y sus potencialidades 'pro-ductivas' para la construcción de nuevas y diversas realidades. Desarrollo: La mirada se direcciona hacia el juego en relación con el diálogo lúdico-productivo y hacia el mundo de las personas jugadoras en su accionar, experimentación y creación del juego escénico- teatral. Se atraviesa el juego con base en los postulados de lo lúdico de Johan Huizinga y se complementan con las miradas de Bolívar Echeverría sobre un ethos del juego, Roger Caillois sobre tipos de juegos, y Petronio Cáceres sobre anotaciones del juego en el teatro. Conclusión: Se propone una revaloración de lo lúdico dentro de los valores productivos (estéticos) que puede tener el juego escénico
