Studying the work The Universe of Quetzalcoatl (1962) by archaeologist and anthropologist Laurette Séjourné (1911-2003), this article outlines the presence of some esoteric motifs in her reading of the figure of Quetzalcoatl. Through the analysis of this book, it is tracked the presence of alchemy (from is re-elaboration by the hermeneutics of the Circle of Eranos), the Prisca Theologia, the natural philosophy of Paracelsus and the theosophy of Jacob Böhme in his interpretation of the mythology of "primitives" as an alternative to reconcile reason and spirit

Releyendo la obra El Universo de Quetzalcóatl (1962) de la arqueóloga y antropóloga Laurette Séjourné (1911-2003), este artículo esboza la presencia de algunos motivos esotéricos en su lectura de la figura de Quetzalcóatl. A través del análisis de este libro, se rastrea la presencia de la alquimia (a partir de su reelaboración por la hermenéutica del Círculo de Eranos), la Prisca Theologia, la filosofía de la naturaleza de Paracelso y la teosofía de Jacob Böhme en su interpretación de la mitología de los pueblos "primitivos" como una alternativa para conciliar la razón y el espíritu
