Contenido:
Part 1: one sees the body of the woman and her severed head; an early stage of the dissection; a more advanced dissection scene; various organs including the liver, stomach, bile duct, the uterus, bladder, intestines, heart, lung, kidneys, vagina, fallopian tubes, all depicted in great detail and from different aspects. -- Part 2 : varoius parts of the skeleton of the woman. Various aspects of the skull, teeth jaws and the entire skeleton from front and back are shown. -- The final part of the scroll contains depictions of a fetus (with a manuscript note that there was a second fetus found in the woman), the umbilical cord, and placenta, all with the blood supplies vividly shown

"The present scroll is one of a very few copies of a famous and important dissection which took place in 1800 under the supervison of physicians Soteki Fuseya (1748-1812), a well-known anatomist; Shosai Oya, a gynecologist of Osaka; and Bunken Kagani (1755-1819), the prominent orthopedist who wrote a number of books on orthopedic treatments and osteology."
