In this brief article, I bring personal reflections on the teachings, importance, and meaning of a set of theoretical and methodological proposals of the Epistemologies of the South. Using a "free" writing style, I begin by describing the world (territory) from which I read and understand the Epistemologies of the South, the motivations for the composition of a song called "Linha abissal" and the reasons why I consider pertinent the promotion and adoption of an epistemic rationality that defies "indolent reasoning", as Boaventura de Sousa Santos eloquently writes about, to whom I also pay tribute through this piece
Neste breve texto trago reflexões sobre os ensinamentos, importância e significado de um conjunto de propostas teóricas e metodológicas das Epistemologias do Sul. Com uma escrita "livre", neste texto começo por descrever o mundo (território) a partir do qual leio e compreendo as Epistemologias do Sul, as motivações para a composição de uma canção denominada "Linha abissal" e as razões pelas quais considero pertinente a promoção e adopção de uma racionalidade epistémica que desafia a "razão indolente", tal como eloquentemente escreve Boaventura de Sousa Santos, a quem também presto tributo com este escrito
