This research carried out between 2010 and 2012 had as a main objective to analyze the attitudes that 30 children and adolescents (CHA) between 4 and 16 years old have towards sexual and gender-role who are studying in the institution Proinco Hogar de Cristo, Corazón de Maria in Pasto city, those who elected on the basis of inclusion criteria referred by teachers and administrators as sexual expressions (verbal, non verbal, and physical) advanced for his age. They wanted to participate in this research and a consent signed by their parents or guardians were required, this population is highly vulnerable conditions, poverty, vulnerability and violence. The methodology is Action research, however this paper is the early phase of the research, this is the exploratory phase which describes the thoughts, behaviors and emotions of children and adolescents in relation to sex role and gender, the second phase will develop from the weaknesses found, which we the basis for the proposal of a sex education program and gender in the school context ;the data collection techniques were the focal group interviews, participant observation, field journals and workshops. The results show that the attitudes of children from their sexual and gender roles can be expressed by emotions, thoughts and behaviors and they are consistent with their daily experiences. There are three main emotions: The joy of the game with their peers, sadness for the family experiences and anger to be subject to abuse by their parents and peers. Also they have the following thoughts: identification of the role of gender according to its three aspects such as treatment, clothing and play and demonstrate behaviors such as physical and psychological aggression among children. It should be emphasized that the guidelines remain male control, power and dominance and in females passivity, obedience and responsiveness. La presente investigación realizada entre los años 2010 y 20124 tiene como principal objetivo analizar las actitudes que tienen frente al rol sexual y de género 30 niños, niñas y adolescentes (NNA) entre los 4 y 16 años que se encuentran estudiando en la institución Proinco Hogar de Cristo, Corazón de María de la ciudad de Pasto, con base en criterios de inclusión referidos por docentes y directivos como manifestaciones sexuales (verbales, no verbales y físicas) adelantadas para su edad. Los niños elegidos además debían tener el deseo de participar en la investigación y sus padres debían firmar el consentimiento de la participación en la misma. Las condiciones de la población son de gran vulnerabilidad, pobreza, desprotección y violencia. La metodología utilizada es la investigación acción, sin embargo el presente artículo hace parte de la fase inicial de la investigación que constituye la fase exploratoria donde se describen los pensamientos, comportamientos y emociones de los niños, niñas y adolescentes en relación con el rol sexual y de género, la segunda fase se desarrolla a partir de estos resultados, los cuales serán la base para la propuesta de un programa de educación sexual y género en el contexto escolar. Las técnicas utilizadas en la primera fase fueron la entrevista a grupo focales, la observación participante, los diarios de campo y los talleres. Los resultados muestran que las actitudes de los niños frente a su rol sexual y de género se evidencian en emociones, pensamientos y comportamientos que son coherentes con sus vivencias cotidianas. Las emociones principales son tres: La alegría del juego con sus pares, la tristeza por las vivencias familiares y la ira al ser sujetos de maltrato por sus padres y compañeros. Los pensamientos son: Una identificación del rol de acuerdo a su género en tres aspectos: El trato, la vestimenta y el juego.
