Different investigating results exist, important variables like motivation are narrowly related, to the development of the linguistic and telling competition in English, and the cultural and educational contexts have been considered scarcely in relation to the attitude of the students toward the learning of English. You become aware of the existent relation between the attitude and the motivation toward the learning of the English with the academic performance of the students of the University of Sucre in the article of investigation. This investigation proves to be relevant due to the increasing need that they have within the program of internationalization of the university to use the idiom to agree to scientific and technological knowledge in the academic national and international context and to the opportunities of academic and labor mobilization. The study is of type correlational, in the one that you looked for establishing the relations between the attitudes that pupils have toward the learning of English and his academic performance and the types of motivation. Existem diferentes resultados inquiridores, estão estreitamente ligados, ao desenvolvimento da competência lingüística e comunicativa em inglês, variáveis importantes como a motivação e os contextos culturais e educativos foram escassamente consideradas em relação à atitude dos estudantes para a aprendizagem do inglês. No artigo de investigação se dá conta da relação existente entre a atitude e a motivação para a aprendizagem do inglês com o rendimento acadêmico dos estudantes da Universidade do Sucre. Esta investigação resulta relevante devido à crescente necessidade que eles têm- dentro do programa de internacionalização da universidade- de usar o idioma para acessar a conhecimento científico e tecnológico no contexto acadêmico nacional e internacional e às oportunidades de mobilização acadêmica e trabalhista. O estudo é de tipo correlacional, no qual se buscou estabelecer as relações entre as atitudes e os tipos de motivação que os alunos têm para a aprendizagem do inglês e seu rendimento acadêmico. Entre as conclusões se ressalta que, as atitudes dos estudantes tendem a apontar mais para uma motivação instrumental para o inglês, que para uma orientação motivacional integral. Quer dizer, a relação dos estudantes com o idioma é mais de caráter formal para o cumprimento de requisitos econômicos, que de usar o idioma como ferramenta mediadora para construir significados
