Actualización en vacunas recomendadas en el medio laboral

Vaccines have been a great advance in the field of public health since they have reduced the occurrence and mortality of a large number of infectious diseases. Vaccination of the population should be carried out in a systematic manner, following the recommendations of the governments. In the workplace, vaccines are a fundamental weapon to prevent the spread of those workers exposed to biological risks. The continuous changes in vaccination calendars require a continuous training in the matter to the professionals who are in charge of the prescription and administration of the same

Las vacunas han supuesto un gran avance en el campo de la salud pública pues han permitido reducir la aparición y la mortalidad de un gran número de enfermedades infectocontagiosas.La vacunación de la población debe realizarse de forma sistemática, siguiendo las recomendaciones de los gobiernos. En el medio laboral las vacunas son un arma fundamental para evitar el contagio de aquellos trabajadores expuestos a riesgos biológicos. Los continuos cambios en los calendarios de vacunación exigen una formación continuada en la materia a los profesionales que se encargan de la prescripción y administración de las mismas
