From the educational field it is already a common place to understand the development of childhood and adolescence from the contributions of contemporary evolutionary psychology, which have helped to define three areas: psycho-motor, cognitive and socio-emotional. Desde el campo educativo es ya un lugar común comprender el desarrollo de la niñez y adolescencia a partir de los aportes de la psicología evolutiva contemporánea, que han ayudado a definir tres ámbitos : psico-motor, cognitivo y socio-emocional. Más complejo. sin embargo. resulta entender la utilidad de estos tres ámbitos para diseñar acciones educativas, si no se contextualizan en los espacios escolares. familiares y del entorno de donde provienen los niños/as y adolescentes. Final mente, es necesario ampliar nuestra visión de Desarrollo Humano. insertando la perspectiva psicológica y socio-cultural en una corriente mayor, enriquecida por la interacción con otras visiones económico políticas, que profundicen el alcance transformador de aquéllas. Como ejemplo de esa ampliación paradigmática, se sugiere la teoría del Desarrollo a Escala Humana
