In Argentina, the 2009 proclamation of the Audiovisual Communication Services Law No. 26.522 allows, among other matters, the creation of Pakapaka, the first public and federal channel aimed at children in the country and in Latin America. With a programming that recovers preschool and elementary school contents, the signal arises under the responsibility of the National Ministry of Education, which means the possibility of recognizing the close relationship that the children's channel has with formal education. This is why the article explores the characteristics of two audiovisual series specialized in the historical and scientific dissemination treatment (La asombrosa excursión de Zamba and Vuelta por el universo [Zamba's amazing trip and Around the universe]). Based on the identification of different multimedia scenographies, the research notes that the fictional television story establishes dialogues with the pedagogical discourse while it tries to place the audience in a local and regional geography
En Argentina, la promulgación de la Ley de Servicios de Comunicación Audiovisual 26.522 de 2009 permite, entre otras cuestiones, la creación de Pakapaka, el primer canal público y federal dirigido a niños y niñas del país y de Latinoamérica. Con una programación que recupera contenidos del nivel inicial y primario, la señal surge bajo la responsabilidad del Ministerio de Educación de la Nación, motivo por el cual es posible identificar la estrecha relación que el canal tiene con la educación formal. Es por ello que el artículo explora las características de dos series audiovisuales especializadas en el tratamiento de la divulgación histórica y científica (La asombrosa excursión de Zamba y Vuelta por el universo). A partir de la identificación de diferentes escenografías multimediáticas, la investigación advierte que el relato ficcional televisivo establece diálogos con el discurso pedagógico, al mismo tiempo que pretende situar al espectador en una geografía local y regional
