The continuous changes of unlike nature in our society, even today, are generating a more plural and diverse citizenry. This situation, arising mostly by globalization, is awakening great interest, as well as the need to respond to these changes on many occasions, we do not know how to deal with. Thus and with this letter, we understand that education is the key to accomplished that citizenship be developed as a whole. Therefore, first of all, we start from the concept of education as a factor of change and continuous learning process for everyone. Because education linked to development can enable that challenges educational facing us, as well as the requirements on quality of life and justice, they are more effective and efficient in achieving them. On the other hand, we focus on intercultural education as a management model to the obvious cultural diversity in our schools. Thus, with this concept are numerous theoretical and practical dilemmas that revolve around education, immigration, social intervention, public policy... In this line of research, in order to continue fighting before the current crisis situation, advocate continue on the proposed terms in order to perpetuate educational society debates and reflections to have greater transparency to the conflicts socio-educational which are still present in our society
Los continuos cambios económicos, sociales y de diversa índole acontecidos en nuestra sociedad, están generando una ciudadanía más plural y diversa. Esta situación, derivada en su mayoría por la globalización, está despertando un gran interés, así como la necesidad de dar respuesta a estas transformaciones que en muchas ocasiones, no sabemos cómo afrontar. Entendemos que la educación es la pieza clave que logrará que la ciudadanía se desarrolle en su conjunto. Por ello, en primer lugar, partimos del concepto de educación como factor de cambio y proceso continuo de aprendizaje de todas las personas. Pues la educación ligada al desarrollo puede posibilitar que los nuevos retos socioeducativos a los que nos enfrentamos, así como a las exigencias en calidad de vida y justicia, sean más efectivos y eficientes a la hora de conseguirlos. Por otra parte, nos centramos en una educación intercultural como modelo de gestión de la diversidad cultural evidente en nuestros centros escolares. De esta manera, con esta concepción son numerosos los dilemas teóricos y prácticos que giran en torno a la educación, inmigración, intervención social, políticas públicas... En esta línea de investigación, con la finalidad de seguir luchando ante la actual situación de crisis, abogamos por continuar estudiando sobre los términos planteados a fin de perpetuar los debates y reflexiones pedagógicas de nuestra sociedad para tener una mayor transparencia ante los conflictos socioeducativos que todavía están presentes en nuestra sociedad
