Bastardas de Camille. Fabulación y feminismo especulativo de la mano de Donna Haraway

The biologist and theorist of science, technology and feminism Donna Haraway finishes her last book, Staying with the Trouble: Making Kin in the Chthulucene (2016), with a piece of speculative fabulation entitled "The Camille Stories. Children of Compost", which offers an account of how the planet could be in a four-hundred-year period, at the end of capitalism and the beginning of the Chthulucene. In her tale, Haraway invites the readers to extend her writing with all kind of stories in any format to be published in the new collective digital world that the "Children of Compost" will have for story posting and gaming. In this article, we comment on three illegitimate offspring of the Camille stories born in Barcelona: a game, a workshop on speculative fabulation and a short story

La bióloga y teórica de la ciencia Donna Haraway cierra su último libro, Seguir con el problema: Generar parentescos en el Chthuluceno (2019), con un ejercicio de fabulación especulativa titulado "Historias de Camille: niñas y niños del compost", un relato acerca de cómo sería el planeta en unos cuatrocientos años, al final del capitalismo y principios del Chthuluceno. La autora nos invita a extender su relato con todo tipo de historias en cualquier formato para publicarlas en el nuevo mundo digital colectivo de "niñas y niños del compost". En este artículo, comentamos tres descendencias bastardas de las "Historias de Camille" nacidas en Barcelona: un juego, un taller de fabulación especulativa y un cuento
