Acción exterior del turismo...
The article discusses the evolution of External Action on tourism. The study covers a wide chronological period, from the beginning of the 20th century to the present, allowing us to appreciate the evolution of each historical stage in Spain. The first part of the paper analyzes the initial steps of the External Action in the field of tourism. The second part focuses on the growth of foreign tourism. Finally, it examines the appropriateness of the Foreign Action to the period of democracy and proposes some lines of action with a view to the achievement the objectives in addition to setting new challenges for the future that must be adopted in Spanish foreign tourism.
El artículo aborda la evolución de la Acción Exterior en materia de turismo. El estudio abarca un amplio periodo cronológico, desde inicios del siglo XX hasta la actualidad, permitiendo apreciar la evolución de cada etapa histórica ocurrida en España. En la primera parte del estudio se analizan los pasos iniciales de la Acción Exterior en materia de turismo. La parte segunda se centra en el crecimiento del turismo extranjero. Por último se examina la adecuación de la Acción Exterior al periodo de la democracia y se proponen algunas líneas de actuación de cara a la consecución de unos objetivos además de señalar los retos para un futuro que debe marcarse el turismo extranjero en España.
